It’s always sad to see Ramadan come to an end, but at least we have the joy and excitement of Eid to look forward to! Over the last few years a lot of people, myself included, have started to celebrate Ramadan and Eid in a big way – decorations, presents, the whole nine! And a big part of that reason is that there are more and more Muslim companies popping up that cater to our holidays (about time!).
There are a ton of companies that have Muslim holiday decorations but one area that is still lacking is Muslim greeting cards. Call me old fashioned, but there is something so sweet and personal about getting a greeting card in the mail. It would be nice to see more people starting the tradition of mailing out Eid greeting cards rather than sending mass text messages on the day of Eid saying “Eid Mubarak.” Especially to close, loved ones. Just sayin’.
The year before last I drove myself crazy trying to DIY a nice “Eid Mubarak” card but gave up because it was just too much effort. But this year I’m so excited because I found the most beautiful Eid cards from GupShup Greetings.
Neda Mirza, a graphic designer and owner of the company, started GupShup Greetings a year and a half ago. She mainly designs luxury wedding invitations, but last year she also launched a line of Eid cards.
This year she has six new, beautifully crafted Eid cards to choose from. Each one is commercially printed on luxurious artisanal paper with premium inks. I also love that some of them are embellished with glitter and rhinestones, and have raised ink.
This last one is a color-in card, making it a fun way to get the kids involved!
We loved all these cards so much that we decided to team up with GupShup Greetings and do a giveaway for 10 Eid cards! Visit our Facebook or Instagram page for more info! Or you can go directly to GupShup Greetings to buy the cards yourself today!
I really love all of them. MashaAllah, Neda is super talented. If I had to choose, I really loved the golden border eid card 🙂
Bismillah and to all who enter, best wishes!
