My daughter recently turned six! I can’t believe she’s no longer a toddler . As any mom can relate, the years flew by and I hope I can cherish and remember the years to come, iA.
I wanted something unique and different to go in the goody bags for her party. The same old goody bags with candy and random knick knacks can get boring after a while. After browsing the internet, I came across some DIY Play Dough Goodie Bags made with Kool-Aid. I knew right away that this is what I was going to be doing! Best of all, it’s non-toxic and safe to eat- although it might taste a little salty!
It was very simple and fun to put together. My daughter and her friend helped me out, so it made it go by faster. I got clear goodie bags and created my own tags. We glued the play dough recipe onto cardstock to make it look nicer. Then we closed the bag with the twist ties. You can even tie them with ribbons to make it fancier. But make sure you tie it tight because those curious kids can cause a big mess!
These goodie bags are perfect for just about any occasion! With the upcoming birthday season and Eid ul Adha right around the corner, these goodie bags are sure to put a smile on any kids faces! We even plan on giving them to my neighbors kids who are my daughter’s age. She had a blast making hers and we can’t wait to see how you all enjoy them!
